Check Out This Video About The Huge D.C. Ball Pit

A little while ago we tipped you off to the National Building Museum’s new installation “The Beach,” which was an indoor ball pit populated by nearly a million clear plastic balls, set up against a field of fake sand and beach umbrellas. Vice’s Creators Project just posted a cool behind-the-scenes video with Snarkitecture, the art and architecture collective responsible for the installation. The amount of thought that went into this seemingly ridiculous project was massive, and watching them assemble the faux beach inside the museum is a sight to behold. “The Beach” closes on September 7th, so you still have time to check it out for yourself.
