Typically superheroes are pretty handsome dudes, from Superman’s chiseled chin to Batman’s billions of bucks. One spandex type who bucks the trend is Marvel’s amoral body hunter Deadpool, who is so hideous that he wears a full-face mask and bodysuit all the time. Ryan Reynolds is virtually unrecognizable in the first Deadpool trailer, which is getting a lot of buzz online. What brings it into our wheelhouse is a particularly foul-mouthed dialogue exchange in which ‘Pool admits that he looks like a “testicle with teeth.” That’s a pretty evocative description, in our book.
