Edible, Frozen Water Balls Are Somehow Not Ice

“Incredible Science” might be a bit of a stretch for this video, which is seemingly just a recipe for Jell-O shapes. It also seems to be a way of selling specialized ice cube trays, which is a hustle you have got to admire here in the year 2015. But calling gelatin a “polymer” doesn’t really class up a video of you throwing Jell-O in your mouth, and saying they’re actually “giant orbeez water balls” is more confusing than anything else. They are water balls, maybe, in the same sense that humans are water monsters because we’ve got a bunch of H2O in us — but they do come in more colors, so maybe that’s worth the $9.95.
