Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the most common modern interpretation of traditional Japanes Jiu-Jitsu, or Judo, emphasizes grappling, throws, and close-quarters techniques. Defense of groin kicks is not a big part of the repertoire, generally, but if the description of this video is to be believed, at least one Jiu-Jitsu master believed this practice to be so important that he developed a way of hiding his testicles inside his groin to prevent major injury.
That seems pretty unlikely!
What is more likely, based on nothing but the 17 second clip of a curiously-dressed woman (“wife”) hauling off and front-kicking a very bald man outside a hotel lobby, is that he took the kick like any good pro wrestler might.
Also, maybe he wore a cup, and his wife didn’t kick him very hard because she is his wife and not a maniac.
The point is, your balls are groin-adjacent, or part of your groin. They do not reside inside your groin, like some kind of biological Trojan horse. You can’t pull them up like a draw bridge. Jiu-Jitsu is good exercise, though.Get your balls in the game! Donate to the Sean Kimerling Foundation to win the battle against testicular cancer.
