One Champagne Cork To The Nuts, Please

The explosive action of opening a bottle of bubbly has been responsible for a whole lot of property damage over the years. That cork goes flying because champagne is bottled before all of the sugar in the wine has fully fermented. As that process continues, it produces carbon dioxide, which builds up in the bottle and is released with a surge of kinetic energy when the cork is loosened. This is all a bunch of unnecessary explanation for the video above, in which a poor sucker takes a champagne cork to the nuts for our viewing enjoyment.
