We’ve covered spectacular foul ball catches here on the Ball Report a time or two in the past, but this one might take the cake. Gabby DiMarco was attending Tuesday’s Braves / Padres game and enjoying herself with a cup of beer when Atlanta outfielder Ender Inciarte dinged a foul right to her seat. She didn’t have to scramble for the pop fly though, because it arced its way right into her frosty beverage.

Like a true boss, what happened next made DiMarco famous. She gently fished the sweaty baseball out of the beer, set it down and then chugged the rest. That’s pretty damn great. She told MLB.com “It bounced from behind me, I was trying to catch it all, and it landed in my cup,” and then the cheering crowd around her urged her to drink the rest.

They didn’t have to tell her twice, and the Padres fan complied in a moment that was shared on sports blogs around the world, vaulting her into the spectator hall of fame. Well played.
