“Precious Christmas Balls” is a Hymn for the New Millennium

Folks tend to get a lot of mileage out of the “Christmas balls” trope this time of year, and we’d be the last ones to throw stones for that kind of stuff around here. So we thought we could add to our ever-growing Christmas playlist with this little ditty from the New York (where else?) Theatre Barn: “Precious Christmas Balls”. This one is perhaps not as on the nose, as it were, as “Balls, Balls, Balls”, but the third verse is rather performative.

It’s a hell of a piano riff, but if you can manage to tickle the ivories as well as this fella here, you may want to just skip to the chorus. Grandma probably doesn’t need to hear about your precious Christmas balls getting squeezed.
