The Running Of The Balls Is Coming Again

The Running Of The Balls Is Coming Again

If you’re a long-time reader of the Ball Report, you know what time of year it is: it’s time for our parent organization, the Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation, to host their annual Running of the Balls. This fun run takes place on New York’s Governor’s Island and brings defenders of the scrotum from all over the East Coast to raise money and awareness for testicular cancer - the reason we do this in the first place. This year marks the seventh for the event, which grows every time, and we’re super excited.

Every hour of every day one man in the U.S. is diagnosed with testicular cancer, and early awareness is one of the most important factors in effective treatment. The Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation (SKTCF), named in honor of departed sportscaster Sean Kimerling, is dedicated to raising Awareness of Testicular Cancer (TC) and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment, providing answers, and promoting action in the fight against TC.

The Running of the Balls is this weekend, August 10th. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to find a team and join the fun - click here to do that. We’d love to see you there.
