When we talk about Tom Brady on this site, it’s typically in the context of balls. Most notably deflated footballs, as the Deflategate scandal proved. But this time, Touchdown Tom winds up on the Ball Report for his nuts.
The Patriots quarterback has a devoted fan base, and they love Tom for more than just his ball-throwing skills. Brady recently launched a health and nutrition company called TB12, and in May it released its first product, a $200 cookbook purporting to give you the same recipes that Tom uses to get in shape for games. They followed it up this week with the announcement of a new product.

They’re called “TB12 Snacks,” and a box of 12 packets of raw, vegan, organic, gluten- and dairy-free nuts will run you a flabbergasting fifty dollars. Never mind that you could pick up most of this stuff at your local Whole Foods for a lot cheaper. Brady fans are snapping up the snacks like hotcakes. Just a few days after the announcement went out on Twitter, the boxes were completely sold out.
The Los Angeles Times has more on the story, including this list of flavors:
“Blueberry Crunch: A combination of familiar and exotic ingredients packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients. (1.4 oz each.)
“Amazon Crunch: A combination of the best the rainforest has to offer in a tasty, easy-to-eat, nutrient-packed crunch. (1.4 oz each.)
“Superfood Energy Squares: A delicious, healthy, energy-sustaining square, packed with nutrient-dense superfoods. A great pre- & post-workout snack. (1.75 oz each.)
