Let’s close our day out with a video that defies the laws of physics and it’s good for a laugh. In a minor league baseball game between the Las Vegas 51s and the El Paso Chihuahuas, a pair of foul balls ended up in the same trash can lid. That in itself would be unusual, but the fact that it happened in two consecutive swings is amazing. Even more amazing is that the trash can lid wasn’t on the can for the second hit. Instead, 51s player Johnny Monell was wearing it as a helmet. When the dinged ball whips into the lid while Monell has it on his head, it’s one of those “only in baseball” moments that you have to see to believe.Get your balls in the game!
