Use Some Balls To Learn Some Science

TAGGED:

Here’s a charming little video from Hardware Science that uses a bowl full of balls to demonstrate some basic principles of physics. It starts out with a simple question: what kind of ball bounces higher after you drop it, a ping-pong ball or a golf ball? About half of people get this one wrong (it’s the golf ball, because it builds more momentum due to greater mass), and the video then uses that principle to explore lots of other fun physical interactions. Why not learn something on this Tuesday afternoon. What else would you be doing, working?
