Communicating the pageantry and majesty of athletics is a tough job, but it all comes down to the balls. Fox Sports Australia has just released a really charming clip where they pay tribute to the sports balls in our lives, from big to small. The promo is part of their ongoing “I Am” campaign, which looks closer into the personalities that shape the world of sports.

What’s cool about this one is that instead of looking at stars, it gives a little love to the balls that make their feats possible.

A young child narrates the video, titled “I Am The Ball.” It’s a minute long and well worth taking a little time to watch. If you’ve ever had a moment of triumph thanks to sports balls, you owe it to them to give them a little bit of respect in return.
