Since 2005, aficionados of nutsack cuisine have been gathering in the Serbian village of Borac every year to pit their skills against each other in the world’s only Testicle Cooking Contest. Multiple teams of chefs set up outdoor kitchens and prepare the balls, which are considered a delicacy, as part of a traditional Serbian goulash. While bands play and people drink beer, the chefs put their heart and soul into their ballsy stews. When they’re finished, a tasting panel assembles to determine who is the master of testicle cooking, and a year later they return to defend their title.
