The thing about testicles, as every man can tell you, is that they exist in a position of unique vulnerability. Dangling outside the body cavity to maintain optimal sperm producing temperatures, they can easily be damaged. Normally we’re against that sort of thing, but in the case of a woman fighting back against sexual assault it’s an advantage.

This story comes to us from Brazil, where police have taken a woman identified only as Bruna into custody. The incident in question happened on September 5th, when Bruna claimed that her neighbor Pedro entered the bedroom of her home in the town of Miguel Alves with bad intentions. According to her, Pedro attempted to force himself on her, pushing her on the bed hard enough to break it.

He then attempted to sexually assault her, according to her telling. Another man in the room tried to deter him, but he was so frenzied that Bruna had to dig deep and chomp down on his gonads. Pedro denies her telling, claiming that he did nothing wrong. That’s all well and good, but what was he doing in her bedroom?

He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors tried and failed to sew his severed testicle back on. Police are now investigating the incident and trying to come to the truth of the matter.
