World Record Kick To The Groin

Have you ever wondered exactly how much punishment your twig and berries can take? No? Well, that’s what we’re here for. In 2009, Fox Sports decided to investigate the ins and outs of taking a kick to the groin on their show Sports Science. They got Justice Smith, an MMA fighter turned American Gladiator, to wind up and deliver the most brutal groin kick he could muster to “combat expert” Kirby Roy. The foot landed with 1,100 pounds of force at 22 miles per hour. Then, with the aid of slow-mo cameras, computer imaging and other high-tech tools, the show provided a painful explanation of the blow. You can watch the whole thing in the two videos below.
