According to the title of this BBC Autumnwatch video, the adorable little creature you see going totally nuts in someone’s backyard here is a squirrel. That would be easy enough to believe, since the BBC is a trusted news organization, and surely someone there knows what a squirrel is, but you can’t help but wonder: did they even watch the video themselves?
As the William Tell Overture blares in the background, this lovely little horse is dancing and swaying about and — oh. Nevermind. It’s a squirrel eating some nuts out of a horse head feeder.. Apologies to the BBC, small horses, big squirrels, and biologists everywhere. The error is regrettable.
