Staged Or Not, Getting Your Nuts Racked Hurts

As we all know, professional wrestling is fake with a capital F. That is, except for all the training, the falls, the injuries and, sadly, the deaths. There is so much violence and pain in pro wrestling — the stuff that couldn’t get written out even if Vince McMahon wanted it to be. The results themselves are preordained, certainly, but the real matches for most of these wrestlers begin when they exit the “squared circle” for good.

That’s part of the reason it’s so fun to see some levity injected into the proceedings, even when it comes in the relatively dangerous form of a 200lb man getting his nuts racked on the top rope. It probably hurts us more than it does Daniel Bryan; too bad that’s not always the case.
