Having fun now is a lot easier than it used to be. Most of the generations previous to the current crop of high schoolers or thereabouts had at least some experience playing pretend, or improvising their own fun with rocks and dirt and crap like that. Suffice to say that era is over.

It seems very likely that, from now on, kids will not even know the meaning of the phrase “kick that can down the road” because, for one, cans themselves will be a distant memory before you know it. Hell, kicking may not be far behind. At any rate, children of the future will assuredly not be accustomed to digging through the trash for their toys. Given how much fun this centrifuge made from plastic balls looks, though, perhaps that’s understandable.
