Whip Up Some Rice Balls For Thanksgiving. Why Not?

What do you think? Is this Japanese Rice Balls recipe evidence of The Ball Report’s continuing obsession with food or with health? Can it be a mix of both? Yes! That’s the great thing about rice: you just can’t beat it health-wise, and its taste is as good as it gets. Even without raw fish.

That’s why this little recipe is so interesting. The rice balls treat the rice itself as the main attraction, rather than dressing it up with multiple swaths of seaweed or huge chunks of seafood. Most of them, although they seem more like triangular rice prisms than rice balls, to be frank, are just rice and a little spice. Rice and spice! Bon Appetit!
